“On Periods: Let’s put this shit to bed right now: Women don’t lose their minds when they have period-related irritability. It doesn’t lower their ability to reason; it lowers their patience and, hence, tolerance for bullshit. If an issue comes up a lot during “that time of the month,” that doesn’t mean she only cares about it once a month; it means she’s bothered by it all the time and lacks the capacity, once a month, to shove it down and bury it beneath six gulps of willful silence.”—
So. Being homeless is fun.
Sam and I are having to stay at my friend’s house for $100 until the end of August. I quit my old job at Lumberjack Feud, and now we’re trying to get jobs closer to where we’re staying.
We found a nice place that’s close by and only $400 a month.
Right now we’re at the CSL Plasma in Knoxville. Sam’s the only one donating because my tattoo isn’t healed yet. He’s super freaked out about it. Doesn’t like the idea of needles and injections.
Tattoos apparently don’t count. Lol
I’m really glad I have him. I know I couldn’t do this alone. Life’s really hard right now, and it’s not about to get any easier anytime soon.
But we’ll make it.
Honestly man I’m genuinely upset about Robin Williams. He’s started in a lot of my favorite movies from my childhood and it’s just surreal when you grow up and realize your heros are human. But he should be celebrated.
